1. About this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Performance PPC uses cookies and similar technologies on performanceppc.co.uk.

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on or accessed from your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies may also be used to store information or recognise or measure interactions with a website.

2. How we use cookies

We currently use cookies and related technologies for two main purposes:

  • Necessary technologies – to operate essential website functions, including recording and respecting your cookie-consent choices.
  • Analytics technologies – with your consent, to understand how visitors use our website and to measure website performance and successful website enquiries.

We do not currently deploy advertising or remarketing pixels, such as the Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or X/Twitter Pixel.

3. Your consent choices

When you first visit our website, our CookieYes consent banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or customise your preferences.

Necessary technologies remain available because they are required for essential functions such as recording your consent preferences. Analytics technologies are optional.

You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time using the Consent Preferences control available on our website.

4. Necessary cookies and technologies

CookieYes

We use CookieYes to operate our cookie consent banner, remember your choices and maintain appropriate consent records.

These technologies are necessary for the operation of our consent-management system.

Cookie Provider Purpose Duration
cookieyes-* Performance PPC / CookieYes Stores and manages your cookie consent preferences. 1 year

Our cookie-management system may update its technical cookie names as the service develops. The consent interface on our website provides the current cookie inventory.

5. Analytics cookies

Google Analytics 4

Provider: Google
Category: Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to help us understand how visitors use the website, including website traffic, sessions, engagement, device and browser information, approximate geographic information and successful website enquiries.

Google Analytics is only activated through our Google Tag Manager configuration where analytics consent has been granted.

Google Analytics may use first-party analytics cookies, including the _ga cookie, when analytics storage has been permitted.

The current analytics cookies and their durations may vary according to Google's implementation and our configuration. Our consent-management system provides the current cookie inventory detected on the website.

Our Google Analytics configuration records a successful website contact-form submission using the generate_lead event where analytics consent has been granted.

We do not intentionally send your name, email address, telephone number or the contents of your enquiry to Google Analytics.

6. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage the deployment of website measurement tags.

Google Tag Manager is the mechanism through which our Google Analytics configuration is deployed. Our configuration requires analytics consent before our Google Analytics tag is permitted to fire.

Google Tag Manager should therefore not be interpreted as permission for analytics or advertising tracking independently of your consent choices.

7. Contact-form measurement

Where you have granted analytics consent, a successful submission of our website contact form is measured as a Google Analytics generate_lead event.

This allows us to understand whether the website is generating enquiries.

We measure a successful form submission rather than simply counting a click on the Send Message button.

The Analytics event does not intentionally include the contact details or message entered into the form.

8. Changing or withdrawing consent

You can change your preferences at any time using the Consent Preferences control on our website.

If you withdraw analytics consent, our configuration prevents Google Analytics tags from firing subsequently while analytics consent remains denied.

You may also delete existing cookies through your browser settings. Browser controls vary depending on the browser and device you use.

9. Third-party services

Some technologies used on our website are provided by third parties, including:

  • Google – Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • CookieYes – cookie consent management and consent records.

These providers operate according to their own privacy and data-protection terms in addition to our configuration of their services.

10. Future advertising and social-media technologies

Performance PPC may introduce advertising, conversion-measurement or social-media technologies in the future, which could include services provided by platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn or X.

These technologies are not currently deployed as advertising or remarketing trackers on the website.

Before deploying additional non-essential tracking technologies, we will review the relevant consent requirements and update this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy as appropriate.

Where consent is required, the relevant technology will be subject to the appropriate consent controls.

11. Updates to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the technologies used on our website or where legal or regulatory requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page and the date at the top will be updated accordingly.

12. Contact us

If you have questions about our use of cookies or similar technologies, please contact us.
